Accelerating Black leadership in climatetech

ABOUT THIS EVENT
More than half of people who work in climate policy and cleantech identify as non-Hispanic and white, according to a 2022 study from the Aspen Institute. Less than one-third identify as women.

The view from the top is even more stark, with relatively few people of color holding leadership positions in climate organizations. The need for diverse skill sets and experiences is more important than ever as the world confronts the climate crisis and an energy crisis driven by the war in Ukraine.

At a time when deployment of climate technologies is accelerating, in particular due to the momentum provided by the Inflation Reduction Act, this event brings together leaders of color in various areas of climatetech and cleantech to discuss how to grow and elevate diverse leadership going into 2023.
