How the Inflation Reduction Act has transformed US clean energy, one year in

ABOUT THIS EVENT
The Inflation Reduction Act became law one year ago, and since then it has supercharged U.S. efforts to deploy clean energy. The IRA has sparked a boom in domestic cleantech manufacturing, spurred wind, solar and battery developers to build more projects faster, and given early-stage technologies like green hydrogen a much-needed kick-start.

Helping guide this progress is David Crane, the Department of Energy’s Under Secretary for Infrastructure. Crane is in charge of the DOE’s multibillion-dollar program focused on deploying proven cleantech at scale and also oversees efforts to seed the start of the next generation of clean energy technology.

Join us for a conversation between Crane and Canary Media Senior Reporter Julian Spector — they’ll discuss the impact of the climate law one year in and what work is still left to be done.
