Eileen Howe leads the Commercial Analysis and Market Operations team at Hecate Grid, a leading standalone battery IPP. She connected with Hecate Grid in 2019 to grow the energy storage initiative, strengthening the team with over 18 years of experience in electricity markets, market operations, and forecasting. Ms. Howe was with Calpine Corporation prior to joining Hecate, serving as Market Analysis Director from 2009-2019. At Calpine she was instrumental in long-term valuation of Calpine’s 26 gigawatt nationwide portfolio, developing short-term bidding strategies, and performing fundamental analysis with specialized focus on the CAISO, ERCOT and the Northeast markets. From 2000-2008 she was with Citadel Investment Group where she led a team of quantitative developers in the power sector, focusing on PJM, ISONE, and NYISO markets and financial trading opportunities.
