He has published extensively on the electricity markets, and renewable energy. He has advised various federal, state, and local agencies on energy and climate policy, including the California Energy Commission, California Air Resources Board, California Attorney General, and the Bay Area Air Quality Management District. He currently serves on the Governing Board of the California Independent System Operator.
