Bio
Lauren brings more than a decade of experience in ESG strategy and sustainability leadership. She is responsible for leading Energize’s ESG and impact initiatives and supporting our portfolio with strategy development, execution and reporting.
Prior to Energize, Lauren led ESG strategy initiatives for KPMG and key clients across the public, private and non-profit sectors. She has worked with leading asset owners, corporations and private equity clients on their approach to ESG and sustainable development – including helping one of the largest global asset managers develop its climate strategy. While at KPMG, she also served on the corporate strategy team in KPMG International, focusing on growth, sustainability and corporate citizenship.
Lauren was selected to the Chicago Council for Global Affairs Emerging Leaders Program in 2021 and the World Business Council for Sustainable Development (WBCSD) Leadership Program in 2017. She is currently a partner with Social Venture Partners (SVP) Chicago, where she provides pro-bono strategy services for the organization’s growing network of innovative nonprofits.
